Our brand new, purpose built treatment centre in Tower House Lane is now up and running, offering an efficient timber treatment service for companies in the region, with enhanced services for those located within the King George Dock complex in Hull.
Following the site move from Alexandra Dock, WJ Group is now equipped to tow trailers loaded with timber away from customers’ dockside sites, treat them at Tower House Lane before returning them. This saves both time and a transport burden to WJ customers in Hull.
An additional benefit to the Tower House Lane timber treatment centre is a significantly larger undercover area, enabling a capacity increase for both high and low pressure timber treatment.
Mark Eggleston, WJ Managing Director comments: “Our brand new Hull timber treatment centre remains firmly in the dockside area, servicing timber companies that receive their timber through Hull docks. It’s important that our capacity grows as their requirements do and we work closely with many businesses there, offering the best service that we can to them. We’ve been locally transporting timber for International Timber and this has proved extremely beneficial to them and helped their work-flow. We can now do this for other timber companies that are located in the Hull dockside region”.
WJ Group can offer BASF-Wolman underwritten warranties for high pressure treated timber and we also run a second timber treatment facility close to the docks in Rochester, Kent.
