Mark is the proud owner and Managing Director of the WJ Group, having set the business up in 2007. Not a stranger to hard work, Mark’s vision in being able to assist customers in finding solutions to problems is the foundation to the company’s success. Danny Bullement

Finance Manager

KPI is Danny’s middle name. A true and remarkably human financial controller in every sense of the word, nothing escapes Danny’s beady eye – an attribute that is not always good when you have the pleasure of working with him. Business performance is managed with remarkable efficiency whilst Danny’s the man that pays the bills – so be nice to him.

Lewis Smales

Commercial Manager

Responsible for the commercial aspects of the WJ Group, Lewis is regularly out visiting customers, looking for new business opportunities or working with supply partners to deliver quality products to the market. Lewis enjoys developing business with our customers and introducing our strengths to those yet to know us.

Andy Buchan

Production Manager

Driving efficiencies and productivity at our Rix Road manufacturing site is what Andy thrives on. Having worked in caravan manufacturing for a number of years we were lucky to have him join our team in 2017. Andy goes about his business with a ‘human’ approach and is always looking for ways in which to implement continuous improvement strategies in his production factory.

Mike Atkinson

General Manager

Mike’s your able man for the job on many fronts – responsible for a wide area of the operational business day to day and always keen to get stuck in, he’ll draw it beautifully from your brief, make it perfectly to your requirements and get it swiftly delivered to you precisely on time; every day of the week, every month of the year. If you like a good job doing, you’ll like Mike.

Andrew Pantry

Hull Treatment Plant Manager

Tasked with continuously improving the extremely busy timber treatment plant in Hull, Andrew certainly has his hands full. But he comes well-equipped, with 28 years' experience in the timber industry that most recently saw him hold a position of Kaizen Facilitator at John Brash. What with this and an impressive golfing handicap of 13, we're quite sure he's up to the job.

Phil Brown

Rochester General Manager

Down at our southern base, Phil is in charge. In fact, that’s where the buck stops in Rochester, Kent. With a smile on board, Phil runs a ship-shape operation and he and his team will always ensure your timber is promptly treated - whether it's one or one hundred packs. But don’t delay too long in picking it up - he might just anti-slip it too!

Debbie Deighton

Office Manager

Thorough and organised, Debbie oversees the day to day running of the office and is involved in both accounts and purchasing. A tenacious character with an eye for detail she ensures the office runs efficiently and has become a valued leader within the team – we just have to make sure we don’t forget the sweetener in her tea however or we’re asking for trouble.

Ruby Robson

Account Manager

Customer focused and conscientious, Ruby is a real asset to the commercial team. Her organisational skills mean nothing is overlooked and our customer’s requests are met. Ruby can often be found visiting our valued customers and building lasting relationships with both existing and new clients. Her lively personality has brought an extra dose of energy and enthusiasm to the WJ Group.

Coby Taylor

Sales Ledger Accounts

WJ’s enthusiastic up and coming accountant, Coby is a key part of the accounts team, dealing mainly with the sales side and getting involved with the month end. She likes to make sure our customers are happy with their invoices, and ensures they are paid on time, luckily she is the most approachable credit controller you could want. Coby has been with us several years now, right from being an apprentice, she is a real all-rounder and is the go-to girl if you want a Job doing. You may meet Coby on the phone as she can’t keep away from it!

Diana Randlisekova

Hull Treatment Office Administration

Diana ensures that sufficient attention is given to every last detail at our timber treatment facility in Hull. Nothing is overlooked and her role includes everything from planning treatment schedules, arranging transport and managing sales order processing. Diana’s diligent approach ensures our Tower House Lane site runs smoothly and efficiently.

Simon Green

QA Lead

Simon applies over 18 years of carpentry and joinery experience to helping develop new products for our customers, and create jig’s to produce them. As our QA Lead, he is responsible for ensuring all of our processes and procedures are in place for maintaining and documenting the production of our timber components to ensure that the best quality is always delivered to our customers. His commitment to constantly achieving this high standard is apparent in everything he does. As our in house CAD technician, he is also the go to guy for creating and amending new and existing drawings. Simon is an essential part of our team, and will usually be found in our factory testing the quality of our components before they are signed off for delivery.
