WJ Group Team Undertake Wood Science Training Course

Today some of our team undertook their wood science training course provided by TFT Wood Experts. The team enhanced their knowledge of timber and wood science trained by TFT Wood Expert’s trainer Neil Ryan. 

Neil comes with a wealth of knowledge to pass on to our team who are constantly looking to expand their industry knowledge. The training covered a range of topics that directly relate WJ Group’s offering. 

Topics included:

-	Wood as a material
-	Hardwoods and softwoods
-	Properties of wood
-	Timber characteristics 
-	Enhancing durability of timber
-	Wood & Fire

The training concluded with an assessment of knowledge in which everyone passed with flying colours! The team have enjoyed the training and to further support their roles some of team members will now progress onto further levels of the course.
